Where to watch each trailer
There are effectively two trailers people search for: the one promoting the modernized re-release and the original trailer from 2001.
Watch the re-release trailer on Steam
Open the official Steam store page and look at the media gallery at the top of the listing. The trailer streams in your browser, so you can watch it on any device that opens Steam. The page also confirms the re-release launched on November 6, 2026 for Windows, published by SNEG.
Watch the Release Trailer on Blue's News
Blue's News published a release story on November 6, 2026 announcing the game is available on Steam and GOG.com with a 10% launch discount, and that story embeds the Release Trailer alongside the announcement.
Watch an archived trailer for the 2001 original
A Dailymotion upload titled "Pool of Radiance : Ruins of Myth Drannor : Trailer" hosts a trailer video, listed there as coming from JeuxVideo.com and uploaded about five years ago. This is a fan-archived mirror of older promotional material, so its exact version and source year are not confirmed.
Which trailer shows what
The re-release trailer accompanies a game the developer describes as the 2001 classic, now available digitally for the first time with sharper visuals, widescreen support including 4K, fixed bugs, an improved UI, and full controller support.
The story shown in the game follows Elminster's call to descend into the ruined elven city of Myth Drannor and stop the sorceress Kya Mordrayn and the dracolich Pelendralaar from using the power of the Pool of Radiance against Faerûn. The original 2001 game was developed by Stormfront Studios and published by Ubi Soft, so the archived Dailymotion trailer dates from that era and shows the original presentation rather than the enhanced visuals.
